The Victor City Council will be holding public hearings on November 12th at 6:00pm and November 13th at 6:00pm to discuss the proposed wastewater treatment system in Victor.

The meeting on November 12th is to seek approval to petition for judicial confirmation to incur indebtedness for a public wastewater system. City Council will be discussing financial requirements for a public wastewater system and repayment for the project. The staff report for the petition can be read here.

November 13th at 6:00pm will be a public hearing for the annexation and rezone of 80.81 acres near 7000 S. The western half of this lot is planned to be used for Victor's Wastewater Treatment Plan while the eastern half is proposed to be rezoned to RS-16 Single Resident Family. You can review the application materials here and the staff report here.

Both meetings will take place at the Victor City Hall at 138 N Main Street, Suite 201 in Victor. While this project has been in the works for a long time, there is still an opportunity to encourage our representatives to find a more suitable location for the plant or a Valley-wide solution for wastewater. Victor welcomes public comments to be submitted up until the start of public hearings; in-person comments can also be made during the meeting.
