Tetonia Planning & Zoning Tables Decision

Last night, the Tetonia Planning & Zoning Commission heard the Pinnacle Peaks rezone request. This request aimed to rezone a 4.66 acre parcel on the city's outskirts from R1 (Single Family) to C2 (Community Commercial). Before the hearing, all 22 public comments received requested denial of the application—this sentiment was reflected in the packed house for the meeting. Thank YOU for showing up for our community!

After listening to staff, the applicant, and public comments, the Planning & Zoning Commission shared their own concerns on whether or not the application fell under uses allowed by the Comprehensive Plan. The Commissioners ultimately decided that more information is needed before making a final decision and unanimously tabled the application. When you see them in town, please thank the Commissioners for their thoughtful deliberation.
