Sweetwater Subdivision Phase 1
Sweetwater Subdivision Phase I was originally platted in 1992 as 30 lots. The applicant seeks to amend lots 8-25 of the development from 17 existing lots to 44 lots - an increase of 27 lots. This ask drastically increases the scale of development and drastically increases the impacts the community would face if approved.

Speak UP! Help Preserve the Beard's Lease
By now you've heard that elected officials at the state level are looking at selling off land here in Teton Valley. Billionaire knocking as Idaho governor, officials vote to auction Teton Valley ranch land.
The Beard family has leased this 160 acres of state owned land for decades. It is their way of life - and is a way of life that is deeply rooted in our community culture. Teton County Commissioners have spent years (and years) pushing the state to allocate more funds to Teton County to no avail. Selling this cattle grazing land would add insult to injury if allowed. Please join us in contacting our state representatives (contact info below) and in asking our County Commissioners for their help in stopping these Teton Valley land grab attempts.
Why isn't 8,000 acres enough for the Tull family? What will be enough for them? As Mr. Beard said, "... you can’t compete with a lot of money... us ranchers are not rich.” Being 'rich' is not an issue for the Tull family. However, if we demolish our community character one acre at a time - for any amount of money - we will eventually lose what we all value the most about this place we call home.
Our team has reached out to the Tull family on multiple occasions in efforts to meet. We remain driven to gain a clear picture of their intentions here in Teton Valley.
