Alvarado, Texas and Meridian, Idaho based PFG-Idaho LLC submitted a rezone request and conditional use permit (CUP) application for a 38-acre parcel northwest of Tetonia. The parcel currently lies within the Transitional Agricultural Zone, meant to preserve land for agricultural purposes, but would allow for 15 single family homes and 15 accessory dwelling units if developed. However, the developer is requesting a rezone from Transitional Ag to High Density Residential (R-3) to allow for 50-60 townhomes and a CUP to allow for 90 single family homes - 5 times the allowed density. The single family homes alone could more than double the population of Tetonia. 

Written comments are due by 5pm Tuesday, October 7.
