VARD’s Summer Music Party at the Knotty! 6-15-2012

Come celebrate summer with VARD from 5-9pm at the Knotty Pine Supper Club in Victor, ID, Friday, June 15th!
Join us for great BBQ food, music, and fun, as we gather to celebrate the land, water, and wildlife of Teton Valley.

VARD events

Doors open and dinner begins at 5pm. Enjoy the toe tappin' music featuring local and national bluegrass favorites Thomas Sneed, Tom Marshall, Ted Wells, Christine Langdon, Dave Bundy, and Greg Creamer as the "Teton Valley Honky Tonkers" beginning at 6:30pm.

We'll also have kids entertainment with hula hoops, face painting, art, and bubbles!

Entry: Adults $12, Adult Couples $20, Kids 12 & under FREE

A mandolinist and musical historian, Thomas has performed at numerous musical festivals and venues including the Grand Old Opry, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Merlefest, the Kennedy Center and the "Down From the Mountain Tour," which featured music from the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou." His mandolin playing was featured in the motion picture "Cold Mountain." He has worked with the Center for Appalachian Studies in Tennessee collecting oral histories with musicians. Thomas coordinates the Targhee Music Camp held each August at Grand Targhee Resort.
