Tuesday, October 30th, 7pm, Driggs Senior Center
Hosted by: Valley Advocates for Responsible Development, Teton Valley Chamber of Commerce, and City of Driggs
The community is invited to a free discussion with the internationally regarded economic consultant Donovan Rypkema on Tuesday, October 30th from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the “Seniors West of the Tetons” Center in downtown Driggs, Idaho.
Mr. Rypkema is the principal of Place Economics, a Washington, D.C.-based real estate and economic development-consulting firm. The firm specializes in services to public and non-profit sector clients who are dealing with downtown and neighborhood commercial district revitalization and the reuse of historic structures.
Much of Mr. Rypkema’s work has focused on mobilizing economic growth in communities through strategic planning and investment. He is also well regarded for promoting strong policies and incentives to direct growth, while still respecting private property rights. Join us as we discuss the value of property rights and ways for our community to come together and direct growth for economic prosperity. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
