Wildlife Habitat Regulations Go To County Commissioners
For the past several months, the P&Z folks have been diligently working on amendments to the wildlife overlay ordinance to make it clearer and easier to work with. After taking generally supportive comments from VARD, Idaho Fish & Game, Intermountain Aquatics, the Soil Conservation District, and Mike Mergliano, P&Z unanimously recommended approval. The only substantive change made was a recommendation for additional language strengthening the reseeding and weed control requirements for development applications. The Board of County Commissioners will review the ordinance on Thursday, May 13th.
*The wildlife habitat regulations were properly noticed and therefore will proceed to the commissioners without an additional hearing in front of P & Z.
