1000E Neighborhood Plan recommended for approval
P&Z unanimously recommended approval of the 1000E neighborhood plan, a long-term (20-year) future land use plan that was crafted by neighborhood residents and the city of Driggs to address changing land uses just east of the Driggs impact area. The plan is not same thing as a zone change, but instead lays out potential future land uses. Timing is everything with these kinds of plans; the plan itself does not mean that a zone change or development proposal out there would be appropriate at this time. It is simply a planning tool for the far future. The work put into this new plan is a great example of community involvement in small area land use planning.
