Course Topics:
- The impact of rural zoning schemes and past development trends on future growth patterns.
- Development impacts on groundwater and creative solutions to protect water quality.
- Planning and zoning’s relationship with workforce housing.
Course Instructors:
Shawn Hill, Executive Director for Valley Advocates for Responsible Development. Shawn earned a B.S. in Urban Planning from the University of Utah in 2001 and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Wyoming in 2011.
Anna Trentadue, Program Director and Staff Attorney for Valley Advocates for Responsible Development. Anna earned a B.A. in Biology, with a French minor, from Colorado College in 2000, and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco in 2006.
