On Tuesday February 5, 2019 the Driggs City Council voted 3:1 to deny a commercial rezone for the Rodatos property located on the far north end of Driggs, just outside of the City limits. Rodatos still has one final bite at the apple to get the rezone approved by the Board of County Commissioners. The county has posted all information on the “Rodatos Rezone“ (aka the Arrowhead LLC Zone Change and also the Teton Peaks Rezone) on their website.
Our executive Director Shawn Hill recently published this editorial in the Teton Valley News, expressing our support for the City Council’s denial of the Rodatos Rezone as a prudent step against suburban sprawl. Likewise, we still stand by our earlier comment letter in opposition to this rezone.
Public comment will be taken at the hearing.
