Why we developed the Dig Driggs Guide:
VARD and the Downtown Driggs Community Association (DDCA) recognize the importance of creating more professional prospects for long-time residents, their families, and newcomers interested in investing and working in the Valley. The very qualities that make Teton Valley so special can also attract great businesses, grow existing companies, and create jobs. Through careful investment, Driggs has taken a huge first step by creating the foundation for a vibrant downtown; now it’s time to spread the word that businesses will dig it here.
The Dig Driggs Business Recruitment Initiative is the product of a community-driven effort to foster entrepreneurship and commercial vibrancy in our towns. DDCA and VARD have worked with diverse partners, including the Driggs city staff and elected officials as well as the Teton Valley Business Development Center, to produce materials and provide basic information about the incentives and support available for small business owners interested in growing their existing business or undertaking a new venture in downtown Driggs.
With the support of Silverstar Communications, the City of Driggs, the Sonoran Institute, and many personal and professional contributions, the new Dig Driggs Business Guide is now available at the Driggs City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, the VARD office, on the DDCA’s Facebook page, and coming soon at www.digdriggs.com. The Dig Driggs team is also available to help with profiles of available city properties, business permitting assistance, the Dig Driggs business directory, and market analysis.
